Football Recap: Claremont's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Claremont lost to Alta Loma back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wolfpack walked away with a 21-13 win over the Braves. That's two games straight that the Wolfpack have won by exactly eight points.

Claremont can attribute much of their success to Brandon Coronado, who threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and one TD. Doug Yegge was Coronado's top target, picking up 101 receiving yards and one score.

Despite the loss, Alta Loma saw an underclassman step up: freshman Maximus Fierro threw for 194 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 43 yards. The Braves also got a significant boost from Kristopher Biggers, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 96 yards.

The victory was the third in a row for Claremont, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 29.3 points this season. As for Alta Loma, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Claremont has already played their next game, a 37-0 victory against Kaiser on the 12th. As for Alta Loma, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 31-24 win against Glendora on the 12th.
