Volleyball Recap: Mchenry Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but McHenry had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Round Lake Panthers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant McHenry was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9.

Kailys Bonni paced McHenry's offense, picking up six kills. Bonni got some help from Player #2 and her 13 assists.

McHenry's win bumped their record up to 10-25. As for Round Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-26.

McHenry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Mundelein on the 28th. Round Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
