They came up short against the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars, falling 47-25. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

ARMEN BOURSALIAN continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lake Balboa College Prep, putting up 24 points. The contest was BOURSALIAN's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Discovery is taking a road trip to face off against Valor Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they will take on Sun Valley Magnet at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
