Roane County is a perfect 10-0 against Calhoun since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Red Devils at 12:00 p.m. Roane County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

Roane County blew Ripley out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Ripley got their revenge. The Raiders fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 8-6.

Fair Smelko was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Calhoun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 20-4 to Gilmer County.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Roane County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Everything went Roane County's way against Calhoun when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Roane County made off with a 15-1 win. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
