Football Preview: East Hartford Hornets vs. Simsbury Trojans

One of the best came from Anthony Caravallo, who threw for 410 yards and nine TDs while picking up 15.8 yards per attempt. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 15 passing touchdowns on the season. Isaiah Tripp was Caravallo's top target, picking up 195 receiving yards and four scores.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for East Hartford, adding 16 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jayden Thompson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from Curtis Barber.

Even if they lost, East Hartford's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Ameil Wride was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
