Softball Recap: Hudson's Bay Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Hudson's Bay's offense. They lost 13-0 to the R.A. Long Lumberjacks on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 15-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hudson's Bay's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for R.A. Long, they moved to 3-9-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hudson's Bay will challenge Woodland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 10.6 runs per game this season. As for R.A. Long, they will take on Washougal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lumberjacks are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
