Baseball Recap: Onalaska Comes Up Short

Onalaska and Hitchcock squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Onalaska had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-6. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Onalaska's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Hitchcock, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9-2.

While Onalaska had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
