Baseball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Comes Up Short

Horseshoe Bend and Tuscaloosa Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Horseshoe Bend had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-5 to the Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Generals' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Horseshoe Bend's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-12.

Horseshoe Bend does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-3 win against Highland Home on the 1st.
