Bloom is 8-2 against Thornton since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blazing Trojan will welcome the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Bloom will be strutting in after a victory while Thornton will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Bloom turned things around against Thornridge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0.

Bloom easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Thornton came up short against Crete-Monee on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9.

Bloom's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Thornton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Bloom was able to grind out a solid victory over Thornton in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Blazing Trojan have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
