Volleyball Recap: Aitkin Comes Up Short

The Aitkin Gobblers came up short against the Osakis Silverstreaks on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Gobblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Aitkin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Osakis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Aitkin has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Brandon/Evansville on the 16th. As for Osakis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Holdingford on the 16th.
