Softball Recap: Fluvanna County Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fluvanna County had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Spotswood Trailblazers 4-3. For the Flying Flucos, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 win the Trailblazers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2016.

Fluvanna County pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.25 runs across that stretch. As for Spotswood, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
