Volleyball Game Preview: Woburn Memorial Tanners vs. Arlington Spy Ponders

Woburn Memorial has won three straight games at home, while Arlington has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Tanners will welcome the Spy Ponders at 4:00 p.m.

On Friday, Woburn Memorial came up short against Lynn Classical and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Arlington beat Malden 3-1 on Friday.

Arlington had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-19.

Woburn Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
