Soccer Game Preview: Waipahu vs. Radford

The Waipahu Marauders will head out on the road to square off against the Radford Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Waipahu headed into their last match having not scored more than one goal for five straight, but Waialua let them put that streak behind them. Waipahu never let Waialua onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. The Marauders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Radford made sure to put some goals up on the board against Nanakuli on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Golden Hawks as they made off with a 5-1 win. The Rams is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the four match they've won by 3+ goals or more this season.

Radford's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Waipahu, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Waipahu might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Radford in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Waipahu avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
