Basketball Recap: Fulton City Takes a Loss

Fulton City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 78-47 defeat at the hands of the Carlisle County Comets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Comets this season, with their most recent loss being a 82-48 defeat on February 6th.

Carlisle County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylen King, who to rack up 22 points. King has become a key player for Carlisle County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 15 points, but 11-15 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Rickard, who on his way to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

Fulton City's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Carlisle County, their record now sits at 13-16.

As of now, neither Fulton City nor Carlisle County have any future games scheduled.
