With a playoff game on the line, the Palma Chieftains rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 31-21. Palma's win was all the more impressive since Hughson was averaging only 17.86 points allowed on the season.

Hughson's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexander Villarreal, who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Villarreal is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Mcdaniel, who threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Palma has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Hughson, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 10-4.

Palma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hughson also has no future games currently scheduled.
