Basketball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton lost against Garfield-Palouse back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dayton Bulldogs were beaten by the Garfield-Palouse Vikings 60-13. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-4.

Dayton's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5. As for Garfield-Palouse, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Dayton will venture away from home to face off against Pomeroy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Garfield-Palouse, they will head out to take on Liberty Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Garfield-Palouse's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
