Football Recap: Taylor County Takes a Loss

Taylor County was the 21-12 winner over Rickards when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Taylor County Bulldogs fell 14-6 to the Rickards Raiders on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rickards, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylor County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Godby at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Rickards, they will face off against Madison County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
