Softball Recap: Southridge Raiders vs. North Harrison Cougars
Southridge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the North Harrison Cougars by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Millie Hunter spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks.
