Patterson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Poly. That's two games straight that Patterson have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, City College fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Digital Harbor on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0.

City College's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 5-2-2. As for Patterson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-2 record this season.
