It was a good run, but Beechcroft unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Centennial Stars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Centennial scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-18.

Beechcroft's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Centennial, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Beechcroft will challenge rival Whetstone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Centennial is set to take on their familiar foe Northland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
