Basketball Recap: Waite Comes Up Short

If Waite was feeling good fresh off their 66-45 takedown of Northwood last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Waite Indians took a blow against the Lima Senior Spartans on Friday, falling 79-36. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Waite's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lima Senior, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Waite will square off against Rogers at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Lima Senior, they and Ottawa-Glandorf will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
