Basketball Recap: Maysville Makes It 18 in a Row at Home

Maysville came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Brookfield Bulldogs 60-45. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Maysville's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points over those games. As for Brookfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.
