Baseball Recap: Mcdowell Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

McDowell had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Freedom Patriots by a score of 9-4 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 back in March.

McDowell saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Woody, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. Woody has become a key player for the Titans: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-13 otherwise.

McDowell's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Freedom, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

As of now, neither McDowell nor Freedom have any future games scheduled.
