Packer Collegiate Institute entered their tilt with Avenues The World School on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let Avenues The World School get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The Pelicans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Avenues The World School, too.

Brody Coraine looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Griffin O'Connell, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Corbett Yaggy was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Packer Collegiate Institute's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Avenues The World School, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Packer Collegiate Institute and Avenues The World School will both be playing St. Ann's the next time they take the field. The Pelicans will head out to face the Steamers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while Avenues The World School will host them at 4:00 p.m. on May 2.
