Killingly's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 60-27 win over the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs. The Redmen's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Lyman Memorial lost, don't look at Phoebe Carpenter. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. What's more, Carpenter also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Emelia Heinzman was another key player, putting up three points and ten rebounds.

Killingly's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Lyman Memorial, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Killingly will challenge Bacon Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lyman Memorial, they will take on St. Bernard at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
