Baseball Game Preview: East Jackson Trojans vs. Homer Trojans

East Jackson will square off against Homer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. East Jackson's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

East Jackson fell victim to Grass Lake and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Homer lost 16-4 to Hanover-Horton on Friday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Xander Dubois and Brock Butler stepped up to the plate in a big way. Dubois scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Butler scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

East Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Homer, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
