Terrell County skates past Miller County with ease

Recap: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Miller County Pirates

The Terrell County Greenwave had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Miller County at home to the tune of 85-39. Terrell County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 30 points or more this season.

Terrell County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keavonte Anderson, who scored 16 points. Shaheed Huckaby was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Despite the loss, Miller County still got an impressive performance from Javiah Powell, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dontravius Burr, who scored six points.

Terrell County's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Miller County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Terrell County will face off against Quitman County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Miller County, they will be playing at home against Randolph-Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Randolph-Clay is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
