Baseball Recap: Kingston Cardinals vs. North Huron Warriors

Kingston won the last time they faced North Huron and things went their way on Monday too. The Cardinals walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Brody Pohlod made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Kingston is 2-0-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-9 otherwise. Pohlod was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

He is becoming a predictor of Kingston's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 5-9-1 when he doesn't).
