Francis Parker had won four straight games and Tavid Johnson did his part to make it five on Friday. The Francis Parker Lancers came out on top against the Bishop's Knights by a score of 63-55 thanks in part to Johnson, who went 10 of 16 en route to 25 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Francis Parker's points.

Minh-Vy Nguyen was another key player, putting up six points. What's more, he also racked up four boards, the most he's had since back in December of 2023.

Francis Parker pushed their record up to 17-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Bishop's, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Francis Parker is taking a road trip to square off against La Jolla Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Bishop's, they and High Tech SD will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
