Basketball Recap: Park Place Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Park Place Christian Academy lost against East Rankin Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders were dealt a 53-18 defeat at the hands of the East Rankin Academy Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while the Patriots are ranked third).

Park Place Christian Academy dropped their record down to 6-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for East Rankin Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Park Place Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Wayne Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Rankin Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Leake Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leake Academy will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something East Rankin Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
