Basketball Recap: Cushing Takes a Loss

Cushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. The game between them and the Perkins-Tryon Demons didn't end well, with the Cushing Tigers falling 50-34. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Demons from their previous meeting back in February.

Cushing's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Perkins-Tryon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mannford the next time they take the court. Cushing will host Mannford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Perkins-Tryon will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
