Volleyball Recap: Carson Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Carson had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Carson took every set by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-3, 25-7.

Alana Herring was the offensive standout of the game as she had 12 digs and three aces.

Herring wasn't the only good server: Carson was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Carson's record now sits at 12-2. As for Jay M. Robinson, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carson will face off against Draughn at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jay M. Robinson, they will take on Salisbury at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
