Softball Recap: Armstrong Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Armstrong can now relate to. They fell just short of the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The game marked the first time this season in which the River Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Thomas Jefferson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Armstrong nor Thomas Jefferson have any future games scheduled.
