Otis waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Akron Rams by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Otis can attribute much of their success to Raya Grimes-Routh, who had 11 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Grimes-Routh a new career-high.

Grimes-Routh wasn't the only good servers: Otis was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive matchups.

Otis' record now sits at 9-2. As for Akron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Otis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against McClave on the 27th. As for Akron, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Stratton on the 27th.
