Volleyball Recap: Wilbur-Creston-Keller Snags 14th Victory in Last 17 Games

After losing to Northport the last time they met, Wilbur-Creston-Keller decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs on Saturday.

Northport lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kate Beardslee, who had 17 kills, nine digs, and three blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 16 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Dalilah Colton, who had six digs and two aces.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-1 record this season. As for Northport, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northport, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Republic on the 1st.
