After a string of four wins, Sweetwater's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the Coalfield Yellow Jackets, falling 6-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Sweetwater's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Coalfield, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Sweetwater will be playing in front of their home fans against William Blount at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coalfield, they will challenge West Greene at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buffaloes will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Yellow Jackets surely won't give up without a fight.
