Miami beats Follett for their eighth straight win

The Miami Warriors put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They managed a 36-30 win over Follett. For Miami, this counts as revenge for the 60-46 loss Follett walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

Haiden Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 119 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 153 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke Wheeler, who rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns.

Miami's victory was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. As for Follett, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami will square off against McLean at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Follett, they will head out on the road to face off against White Deer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. White Deer is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
