Basketball Recap: North Pike Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

North Pike entered their tilt with Franklin County on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Bulldogs 55-37. The Jaguars pushed the score to 46-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Pike to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kadence Thompson, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 23 points and five assists. Those 23 points gave Thompson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadence Jordan, who shot 42% from the field on her way to 13 points and four steals.

North Pike's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Franklin County, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, North Pike will challenge South Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin County, they will square off against Bogue Chitto at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
