Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They snuck past the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders with a 61-56 win on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-47 back in December of 2024.

Clinton's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11. As for Sherburne-Earlville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will square off against Utica Academy of Science at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Utica Academy of Science will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Clinton surely won't give up without a fight. Sherburne-Earlville has already played their next contest (against Canastota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
