Baseball Recap: Vista del Lago Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Vista del Lago's offense. They came up short against the Rancho Christian Eagles on Thursday, falling 12-0. The Ravens haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Vista del Lago now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Rancho Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vista del Lago will face off against Hillcrest at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rancho Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perris at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.1 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
