Basketball Recap: North Plainfield Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Plainfield can now relate to. They were dealt a 108-46 defeat at the hands of the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Canucks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Trojans are ranked 18th).

North Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.

North Plainfield has already played their next game (against South Plainfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Thomas Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
