Basketball Recap: Laughlin Starts off Right with Win over Spring Mountain + How To Watch

Laughlin took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Spring Mountain Eagles by a score of 47-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Laughlin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Israel Trejo led the charge by going 8-for-12 on his way to 17 points. Those 17 points gave Trejo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Brookins, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Laughlin will venture away from home to square off against Sandy Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Mountain, they will head out to take on Western at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
