Payton Proffitt Game Report: @ Edison

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Payton Proffitt: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made six total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel San Clemente past Edison by a score of 10-9. We hope Proffitt's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Proffitt and San Clemente will face off against Beaumont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will enter the matchup having just beaten Redlands East Valley, so the Tritons will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
