Basketball Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

Shelton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 44-24 to the Lauralton Hall Crusaders. The Gaels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 39-25.

Shelton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lauralton Hall, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shelton will venture away from home to challenge Career Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lauralton Hall, they are taking a road trip to face off against Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
