Valley is 8-2 against Clay since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Valley 3.7, Clay 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Valley needed a bit of extra time to put away Whiteoak. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Clay unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Portsmouth by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered since April 13th.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Clay, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.

Valley got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Clay by a conclusive 13-0 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
