Baseball Game Preview: Scappoose Indians vs. Pendleton Buckaroos

The Scappoose Indians will take on the Pendleton Buckaroos on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Scappoose sitting on 14 straight wins and Pendleton on four.

Scappoose is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They skirted past Philomath 7-6.

Meanwhile, Pendleton earned a 9-6 victory over Junction City on Friday.

Scappoose's win was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Pendleton, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

Scappoose came up short against Pendleton when the teams last played back in April, falling 10-7. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
