Baseball Recap: Corinth Holders Takes a Loss

Corinth Holders fell victim to Willow Spring and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Corinth Holders' defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Willow Spring, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Coming up, Willow Spring will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against South Garner at 4:30 p.m. Corinth Holders will be paying especially close attention to the Storm's match: after the Storm face off against the Titans, they'll take on Corinth Holders again at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
