Baseball Recap: Nickerson Comes Up Short

Nickerson lost against Halstead on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Dragons, falling 12-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nickerson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lian Hedrick, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Nickerson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Halstead, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8-2.

Looking ahead, Nickerson is taking a road trip to face off against Andale on Friday. As for Halstead, they will host Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
