Volleyball Recap: Helena Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Helena came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Oak Mountain Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Huskies have posted since September 20th.

Helena had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-11, 25-16.

Monroe Bouler paced Helena's offense, picking up eight kills. Bouler got some help from Parker Mims and her 15 assists.

Helena's win bumped their record up to 20-15. As for Oak Mountain, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Looking ahead, Helena will head out on the road to square off against Pelham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Oak Mountain has already played their next contest (against Brewer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
