With a playoff win on the line, Seminole rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They beat the St. Petersburg Green Devils by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-3. The Warhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Seminole's third in a row) raised their record to 9-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for St. Petersburg, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Seminole does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Petersburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-3 loss against the Warhawks on the 29th.
